Description[]
The course is similar to Mt.z64, but much closer to the final Whomp's Fortress, and there is now a thick fog covering the entire level, making it harder to see ahead of the player. Additionally, most of the moving platforms have been removed, making platforming up the mountain much more difficult. Once they spawn in after touching the aforementioned level's fake star, a timer immediately begins counting up. Once this timer reaches 43 seconds, Mario/Luigi will immediately faint on the spot, making the player lose a life. If the player manages to reach the top of the tower, the countdown will cease and they will be rewarded with a Red Star.
Interestingly, if this version of the course is entered via the painting in Beta Lobby B or Floor 2B, the timer will not immediately start visually until a ways into the level, though the counter will still start on level entrance, and will make the player lose a life once the 43 seconds are passed after the timer has been displayed.
Origins[]
As the name implies, this course is based on jefftastic's "creepypasta" hack, sm64.z64.
The music is a slowed down version of the "Main Theme" track from the vanilla game's OST, with missing instruments.
Stars[]
- Reach the tower in less about 40 seconds. In 0.9 this was a fake Red Star, but as of 1.0 this is now a real one. In the 1.0.3 test rom, this red star was changed to a regular star.
Warps[]
Leading here[]
- wf.z64 (beta): Touch the star at the top of the tower.
- Beta Lobby B: Jumping into the Whomp's Kingdom painting has a chance to bring you here.
- Floor 2B: Jump into the working Whomp's Kingdom painting.
- (v1.0) Whomp's Kingdom: Stand in the cage on the floating isle.

Trivia[]
- There are two different versions of this stage. One where the timer starts immediately (area id 7) and one where the timer starts after a trigger is hit (area id 0).[1]
- In Test 35, the area ID 7 version (the one where the timer starts instantly) has no music, unlike the area ID 0 version. This suggests the area ID 7 version was newer then the area ID 0 version. This actually makes sense, as in Test 35, lobby.z64 (beta) is nowhere to be seen.
