Vanish Cap within the Plexus is an area in B3313.
Description[]
The player spawns in a small room, where the Blue Cap Switch is located. A door there leads to a hallway full of grids, in turn leading to the main, open area. There is a cage nearby with grass inside it, and a platforming section up ahead.
Origins[]
The area's layout appears to be an original creation. Textures are mainly taken from the Shoshinkai beta version of Super Mario 64. The appearance of the trees comes from an unused sprite found in the vanilla game's source code.
The music playing is the "Let's Go Down the Wine River" track from the Super Mario RPG OST.
Stars[]
This area has 2 stars to collect:
- Use the Vanish Cap to reach the item box inside the grassy cage.
- Reach the end of the platforming section.
Warps[]
Leading here[]
- Silent Hall: Go through the double door at the front, then jump into the cap painting. (The painting also has a random chance to warp to Uncanny Moat.)

Trivia[]
- The behavior of the blue coin path near the start of the level can vary. Sometimes the blue coins can be collected after ground pounding a blue coin switch, while other times they will appear as outlined coins that can be collected while wearing an Invisibility Cap.
- (v0.8) On console, the game crashes upon pressing the blue switch.
