Tall, Tall Mountain (beta) is an area in B3313.

Description

The area is based on the vanilla Tall, Tall Mountain, but many elements have been altered to form the beta version. Instead of a star at the summit, a mysterious hole leads to a cave inside the mountain. The area is inhabited by Ukiki and his brother Wakkiki, along with a number of enemies including Goombas, Bob-ombs, Chuckyas, Monty Moles, Fly Guys, and Fwoosh.

Origins

This is a modified version of Tall, Tall Mountain.

The music playing is the "Bob-omb Battlefield" theme from the vanilla game OST.

PATIENCE IS KEY. . .

Stars

• Collect 8 red coins.
• Reach a lone mushroom near the bridge.
• Catch Ukiki on a ledge near the top of the mountain. Wakkiki can be found on a lower ledge and will steal Mario/Luigi's hat if caught.
• Enter Magic Mushroom Cave through the hole at the top of the mountain, and enter the hut in the cave to be warped into a room sealed behind a grate.
• During ACT 1, a star appears in a hole at the top of the waterfall near the spawn point.

Trivia

• The message on the sign on the ledge above the waterfall provides a hint about how to activate ACT 1 in order to spawn the waterfall star. "The hand of time" "pulling and stretching us" refers to the game's title screen, where the player can use the hand cursor to pull on Mario's face. "Patience is key" refers to waiting on the title screen until ACT 1 activates, after about 35 seconds.
