Stairway to Nowhere is an area in B3313.
Description[]
This area consists of a short, spiraled staircase leading down to a small room with a deep hole in the floor, surrounded by a cage open on one side. After a short descent, the screen blackens, and one of two messages appears:
- If the player has fewer than 33 stars, the message "YOU ARE NOT WORTHY" appears, and they are warped to the Vanilla Lobby.
- If the player at least 33 stars, the message "YOU ARE WORTHY" appears, and they are warped to Above the Clouds.
Origins[]
Like Painting Museum, this area originates from Emmy's video "Lost Demo." In the original video, jumping into the hole showed a black screen with 7 missing Toads and the "NOT WORTHY" text.

- The warp at the bottom of the hole uses a teleport, similar to that of the Big Boo's Haunt cage. This explains why the sound plays, and the camera doesn't just fall straight down.
- In v0.9 and Unabandoned, the warp will always lead to the Vanilla Lobby. The text will not change dependent on how many stars the player has as well.
