Description

The area is a short corridor with bookshelves on both sides. There is a narrower section, but it is blocked off by an invisible wall. Opposite the door leading to Desert Room is a pipe and an item block. Entering the key doors under the Yoshi painting at the end of the corridor kills the player.

Origins

This area's layout mostly originates from the Breaking The Barrier ROM Hack created by MarioNova64.

The music playing is a variation of the "Inside Castle" theme from the vanilla game.

• Reading the sign in front of the pipe plays the "fanfare" sound effect then mutes all noise other than music.
• There is a fake star behind the Jolly Roger Bay painting hanging over the door to Desert Room. It is not accessible via normal means, but if reached using debug mode, it warps the player to Bowser's Checkered Madness.
