River Mountain (beta)

Bob-omb River (beta) is an area in B3313.

Description[]

The terrain in this area resembles River Mountain with a slightly different layout. Here the waterfall flows down from the high mountain, where a switch and a pipe behind a gate are located. Bob-ombs, Goombas, and a Chain Chomp inhabit the area.

Origins[]

The level is a slight modification of an area featured in a video titled "The OTHER Tape 10s" on Emmy's now deleted second channel. Despite the UV mapping being a little off, the extended height of one of the polls, and the replacement of two textures (the trees and one ground texture), the geometry matches exactly, and the waterfall's texture further supports the authenticity of this asset because it looks identical to the source material.

The music playing is the "Bob-omb Battlefield" theme from the vanilla game's OST.
