Purple Lobby is an area in B3313.

Description

This area is reminiscent of the castle's beta lobbies on a larger scale, with purple-toned textures. Its structure appears to be a bigger version of Cryptic Hideout's main room. The only painting is found in a room through a door on the left, containing a black canvas; there is no door on the right side of the lower floor. Instead of stairs, beta-style platforms lead to the double doors to the upper floor.

Origins

The majority of this area was originally created by SonicAndMarioGames1985 for the ROM hack "Luigi's Ghostly Quest".

The area was then altered and added to B3313. It uses textures from the beta and final versions of the game. Notably, some have been modified to have a purple tone, similarly to Purple Upstairs.

As of v1.0, the music playing here is a remix of "River Twygz Bed" from Super Paper Mario created by NewSupKaizo55. This music is the one played in Polygonal Chaos.

Trivia

• The geometry will sometimes glitch in this area. This is not an intentional corruption caused by Personalization Values, but instead a true, unintended glitch.
• This area and Purple Castle were once thought to be separate areas, with the latter dubbed "Boos' Upstairs," but it was revealed that they are actually connected.
