Plexal Lobby is an area in B3313.
Description[]
The main room of the lobby contains two levels, with doors leading to many different areas. A key door on the lower level leads to a junction room with four doors, including another key door with the beta clock symbol above it. The doors to the clock's right open on a passageway which exits the lobby to the windy state of the Uncanny Courtyard. The doors to the clock's left lead to a room from which the player can access Floating Hotel and Big Boo's Haunted Forest. The doors under the clock lead to a curious room with three doors. The doors to the left and right kill the player and warp them back to the Plexal Lobby's central room, while the doors in the middle open on a mirror room with an exit to Crescent Castle.
Back in the main room, a key door on the opposite side opens on a passageway leading to the central hallway room, which contains its own series of doors and a side room. A door at the far end exits the lobby to Castle Garden. The other doors in this and the main room lead to various paintings or other parts of the castle.
Origins[]
The main room of the area was designed by Arthurtilly, while the rest of the Plexal Lobby was designed by ChrisRLillo. Most of the textures originate from the Shoshinkai beta version of Super Mario 64, even though the wood texture was reused for the interior of Peach's Castle in Super Mario 64.
The music playing is an arrangement of "Inside Castle Walls" from Super Mario 64.
This music comes from Marionova64's hack "Breaking the Barrier" and it was composed by NicoSwitch.
Warps[]
Two-way[]
- Balcony: In the hallway central room, go through the double door on top of the checkered stairs.
- Beta Lobby B: In the main room, go through the single door at the top of the staircase.
- Beta Lobby D: In the hallway side room, go through the door with the number "3" above it, and then through the double door with the star above it.
- Bowser's Maze: In the hallway central room, go through the double door on top of the checkered platform.
- Castle Garden: In the hallway central room, go through the double door at the end of the hallway, with the red carpet in front of it.
- Clock Hall: In the hallway side room, go through the double door with the star above it.
- Crescent Castle: In the junction room, go through the key door with the clock above it, then through the key door in the middle, and finally through the key door at the other side of the mirror.
- Floating Hotel: In the junction room, go through the double door to the left of the clock, and then through the double door with Bowser's painting above it on top of the stairs, surrounded by flames.
- Genesis Basement: In the main room, go through the double door on top of the stairs to the right of the key door with Peach's painting above it.
- Plexal Basement: In the main room, go through the single door behind an opening in the wall on the bottom right, then through the double door at the end of the hallway.
- Uncanny Courtyard: In the junction room, go through the double door to the right of the clock, and then the single door at the end of the hallway.
Leading here[]
- Bowser's Prison: In the throne room, jump through the pipe.
- Dead Village: (v0.9 onwards) Enter the lone house at the top of the mountain/(pre-v0.9) Enter the "molehill".
- Vanilla Upstairs: Go through the key door.
- Peaceful Grounds: Jump into the well and swim to the bottom.
- Uncanny Library: Jump into the faceless Peach painting. (Acts like a death)
- Sunny Courtyard: Stand in front of the doorway behind the wall. (Acts like a death)
- Crimson Hallway: In the maze, defeat the Big Boo and jump into its cage. (Acts like a death)
- Floating Hotel: Enter any of the doors at the end of the hall (except the one with butterflies in front) (Acts like a death)
- Breaking the Barrier: Enter and then immediately reenter the looping doors. Due to a glitch, this takes you to a small hallway that leads here. (Acts like a death)
- (v0.9/UA) Star Road: Enter the carpeted pipe next to the entrance. (In UA, with less than the star requirement) (Acts like a death)
- Additionally, the left and right doors in the room with the Vanish Cap return you to the main area.
In versions prior to v1.0.1, dying in an area not entered through a painting would warp the player to this area by default (with the exception of some unique cases, like the Balcony). In v1.0.1 and later, dying in most areas returns the player to the location from which they entered the area.
Leading away[]
- Bob-omb Test Field / (pre-v1.0) Zany Castle: In the hallway central room, go through the door with the number 3 on it.
- Big Boo's Haunted Forest: In the junction room, go through the double door to the left of the clock, then through the door on the right with the number 1 above it, and into the Boo painting.
- Crimson Hallway: In the main room, go through the leftmost door with the number 1 on it, and then the pipe at the front. Alternatively, in the junction room, go through the key door with the clock above it, then through the key door in the middle, and defeat the Big Boo at the other side of the mirror and jump into its cage. Finally, in the hallway side room, go into the room with flames, defeat the Big Boo and jump into its cage.
- Funhouse: In the main room, go through the second single door to the left of the double door with Peach's painting above it, jump down the hole, go through the next double door and then the pipe.
- Goomba Hills: In the hallway side room, go through the door with the number "2" above it, and then through the painting with the Goombas on it.
- Grassy Highlands: In the main room, go through the first single door to the left of Peach's painting, and then through the painting of a tower.
- Plexal Hallway: In the junction room, stand on the brick block that doesn't have a flame on top of it.
- Vanilla Lobby: In the main room, go through the single door to the right of the key door with Peach's painting above it, and then jump into the pipe. This is interesting due to the fact that it uses one of the Unused Lobby Warps, spawning you on the sun carpet, with 1 life lost. Alternatively, in the hallway side room, jump into the pipe in the room with flames.

Trivia[]
- This area has more warps associated with it (26) than any other area in the hack.
- If the player enters the Vanilla Lobby through the Plexal Lobby warp pipe with 0 lives, instead of getting a game over, they will have "M1" (Minus 1) lives. From this point, losing a life makes the number decrease into the negatives.
- This glitch also applies to the two doors which kills the player instead and warps them back to the Plexal Lobby's main room.
