Piranha Plant Garden is an area in B3313.

Description

The player spawns in a large open field, in middle of which is a Piranha Plant statue surrounded by flower patches. There are two mountains up ahead, a larger one with another statue on top, and a smaller one with a spike on top. There are also several islands up in the sky. Several enemies are inhabiting the area, including Goombas, Chuckyas, Fly Guys, Whomps and the titular Piranha Plants.

Origins

The area's layout appears to be an original creation, likely inspired by River Mountain. Textures are mostly taken from the aforementioned area as well, which mostly entails beta versions of Super Mario 64. The appearance of the trees and animated flowers come from unused sprites found in the vanilla game's source code.

The music is the game's "Main Theme" track from the vanilla game's OST.

• There is a star in one of the item boxes on top of the small mountain.
• Collect 8 red coins on the sky islands.
• (A2) Collect 5 silver stars.

Leading here

• (v0.4.5) Plexal Hallway: In the exterior section, go through one of the locked doors, and into the sand painting.
• (v0.7) Plexal Upstairs: On the bottom floor, go through the walled door with no number on it in the left side hallway, then jump into the mountain painting.
• (Christmas Build+) Royal Lobby: On the main area, go to through the door on the right, then jump into the mountain painting.

Two-way

• Piranha's Igloo: Jump into the pipe on top of the large mountain.

Trivia

• Entering the area for the first time prompts the player with an infamous entry message ("WILL YOU PLAY THE GAME, OR WILL IT PLAY YOU?"), a reference to one of Emmy's videos.
