Lavish Lava Mountain is an area in B3313.
Description[]
The area looks much like the vanilla Cool, Cool Mountain, but several instant warps placed around the stage serve as a transition between two states: a "fiery" one, where most of the terrain is made out of either volcanic stone or lava, and a "grassy" one, where they are replaced with more basic stone and grass, respectively. There are many enemies inhabiting the place, including Goombas, Bullies, and Fly Guys. It is also home to a mini-boss, Big Mr. I.
Origins[]
The area's layout is taken mostly from the vanilla Cool, Cool Mountain, with some objects from Lethal Lava Land on the top floor for authenticity's sake on the "fiery" side. Textures are also mainly taken from the vanilla Super Mario 64, with a few select ones found in beta versions.
The music is the "Lethal Lava Land" track from the vanilla game's OST.
Stars[]
This area has 3 stars to collect:
- There is a star right at the bottom of the mountain, at the very edge.
- Defeating Big Mr. I also found at the bottom of the mountain rewards the player with a star.
- There is another star at the bottom of the mountain, only reachable in the fiery state found in an item box above a lava lake on one of the platforms.
Additionally, in v0.7 the 100 coin star for Course 2 can be collected here.

- Plexal Upstairs: On the bottom floor, go through the walled door in the right side hallway, and then jump into either small painting of Lethal Lava Land.
- The green painting leads to the grassy state of the course, while the red painting leads to the fiery state.
- (v0.9) The City: Use the Vanish Cap to enter the hole in the moat.
- (v0.7) Beta Lobby C: Enter the second door from the right and then the painting.
- (v0.4) Infernal Tower: Enter the hole at the bottom of the tower.
