Kaizo Caverns

Not to be confused with Cave Dungeon, the area which replaced Kaizo Caverns in B3313 v1.0.

Kaizo Caverns is an area in B3313.

Description[]

The terrain is a hard version of Hazy Mazy Cave, as some of the platforms are very difficult to reach due to the large abyss in the center. The cave itself has been retextured and slightly updated. At the bottom, several bars float in the air, but they are useless. Also in one of the doors is a large room where there is nothing but a healing heart. Also to the right of the start is an impenetrable section with a grate. Save States are practically required to get all 3 stars.

The original render by S.G.I. and Nintendo.

Kaizo Caverns was created by Cavin856 and partially inspired by a Super Mario 64 promotional render.

The music playing is the vanilla Super Mario 64's underground theme "Cave Dungeon," from which the course takes its name.

Stars[]

This area has 3 stars to collect:

Collect 8 red coins in the topmost section.
Use the Vanish Cap (found on the very top platform with Mr. I) to enter a cell near the spawn point.
In the poisonous maze section, touch the top of the poles of the 5 chains on the walls, which act like 5 secrets.
- (In Unabandoned A2, these endgame Yellow Stars have been replaced with Green Stars.)
