Goomboss Battle is an area in B3313.
Description[]
The area consists of checkered platforms and some tree trunks that can be climbed in various ways. They are surrounded by an unknown substance, which acts like quicksand. From v0.9 onward, the substance has now acquired a turquoise color and does not kill immediately, but does take away health at a rapid rate. Everything else is now shrouded in a faint mist.
The area is inhabited by Thwomps, Whomps, Fly Guys, Piranha Plants, and as one might expect, a lot of Goombas.
Origins[]
The area's layout is taken directly from Super Mario 64 DS, with some minor simplifications for the purposes of the hack.
The music playing is "Cave Dungeon" from Super Mario 64.

- Collect 8 red coins.
- (v0.9+) Climb up the grates in the corner of the map to the right of the spawn point.
- (v0.7-v0.8) Reach the top of the area.

Trivia[]
- The area has multiple invisible walls, which limits access to parts of it.
- In v0.4, the smaller painting leading to the area used to be a painting of Mario, also from SM64DS, with a black-and-white filter over it. In v0.6.1, it was changed to a solid black painting. In v0.9, it was changed again to depict the level itself.
- In the April Fools Build, the only area is a version of this level.
