Genesis Basement is an area in B3313.
Description[]
The area's main room and the connected back hallway look much like the Vanilla Basement. A single door in a brick wall leads to a hallway with a painting, while the hallway up ahead connects the section with a much larger room. Taking the stairs and then the double door with Bowser's painting above it leads to a junction room closely resembling the 4th Floor (Final), with most of the connecting rooms empty, which then in turn leads to a gazebo and hedge maze in an outdoor area.

Most of the area is taken directly from Annielogue's video Genesis.
The music playing is the "Inside Castle" theme from the Super Mario 64 OST.

This area had 1 star to collect in v0.9 only:
- (v0.9) Wall-jump above the Toad statue in the hedge maze to reach a green star. Collecting the star warps the player to the Vanilla Lobby.

Two-way[]
- Castle Grounds: In the hallway accessed via the door at the back of the main room, go through the double door at the back and swim into the hole after collecting at least one red star.
- (v0.9+) Toad's Lobby/(pre-v0.9) Orange Hall: In the large room, go up the stairway and through the double door to the right.
- Plexal Lobby: In the main room, go through the double door on the left of the single door in the brick wall.
- Balcony: In the junction room, enter the door near the garden area.
- Castle Depths: In the junction room, go through the first door to the left, then turn right and jump into the pipe.
- Floor 4B: In the junction room, go through the second door to the left and jump into the pipe.
Leading away[]
- Chroma Tundra: In the main room, go through the single door in the brick wall, then jump into the painting.
- Holy Yellow Switch Palace: Jump into the warp pipe found in the hedge maze after collecting at least one red star.
- Bowser in the Dark World (Shoshinkai): Jump into the warp pipe before collecting any red stars or go into the hole leading to Castle Grounds before collecting any red stars.
- Flower Fields: In the junction room, go through the first room to the right and jump into the warp pipe.
