Ending Room is an area in B3313.
Description[]
After all the dark challenges and torment, after the long-awaited defeat of Bowser, Mario/Luigi finds himself in a room that appears to be a dining room within the castle, with starry walls and a checkerboard floor. The first thing that catches his eye is the large, candle-topped cake Princess Peach had promised to bake for him. There are several ! blocks and one ? block arranged like gifts on a table nearby, but none can be opened.
An open doorway leads out to a balcony, where Mario/Luigi is finally reunited with what seems to be the true Peach, as unlike Peach's ghost, she has eyes and does not vanish when he approaches her. However, her ensuing dialogue is rather unnerving. The Toads are conspicuously absent even though Peach mentions them, and no one else is around to help Mario/Luigi celebrate what proves to be a hollow victory when he leaves the area.

This area seems to be an original creation.
When the player enters this area, the fanfare when you receive a letter from Peach in Super Mario Bros. 3 (All-Stars) plays. After that, there is no music.

MY SAVIOUR, YOU DID IT! NOW THAT YOU'VE BEATEN BOWSER,
THE POWER OF THE STARS HAS RETURNED TO THE CASTLE!
TO CELEBRATE, ME AND THE TOADS BAKED YOU A CAKE.
BUT YOU ALREADY KNEW THAT, DIDN'T YOU?
WE WILL PERFORM THE SAME DANCE UNTIL OUR BODIES GROW OLD AND TIRED, AND NOTHING REMAINS ASIDE FROM OUR CADAVRES [sic] ON A SCREENPLAY THEY NEVER CHOSE TO PARTICIPATE IN.

- In the official 1.0 release, a destroyed copy of this area called Victorious Consequences can be reached by entering the back doors of Dark Monochrome Castle.
- Peach's dialogue contains two grammatical errors: "me and the Toads" should be "the Toads and I," and "cadavers" is misspelled as "cadavres."
