Dream Tower is an area in B3313.
Description[]
The area consists of a tall tower made of gray stone with platforming both inside and outside required to reach the top. Snow mysteriously falls inside the tower. The area is patrolled by Chuckyas, Goombas, Whomps, and Thwomps. A Bob-Omb Buddy can be found on a solitary floating island, but he only says a placeholder text.
(In v0.9, in order to collect the stars in this level as well as access the pipe that leads to Nightmare Tower, the player needs to activate ACT 1, then die in Crimson Hallway to spawn into Monochrome Castle Grounds. Doing so will keep the Cap Boxes activated, allowing the player to play the level as intended with no cheats involved.)
This area was removed in v1.0.
Origins[]
This area was inspired by "Tower of Heaven" game by Askisoft.
The music playing is the nighttime version of "Lunar Tower" by wasteofblood, along with ambient bird sounds.
Stars[]
This area has 4 stars to collect:
- Collect 8 red coins scattered throughout the tower. (v0.9: Requires activating ACT 1 and dying in Crimson Hallway)
- Collect the star behind the grate near the ground floor using the Vanish Cap, which can be found closer to the top of the tower. (In v0.9, the Vanish Cap doesn't allow the player to go through the grate, making the star unobtainable.)
- However, the player can obtain it through luring the Chuck-ya to clip onto the grate, and then letting it grab them and throwing them against the grate.
- Collect 5 white stars. (v0.9: Requires activating ACT 1 and dying in Crimson Hallway)
- Break the item block on the top floor of the tower.
In Unabandoned A2, these endgame Yellow Stars have been replaced with Green Stars.
