B3313 Wiki

Crescent Castle is an area in B3313.

Description[]

The area is mainly characterized by its light blue walls in most rooms, and the titular crescent present in the main room and some other areas leading here. Said room contains a double door up ahead, with two singular doors at the side.

The door to the left leads to a hallway with a pipe at the end, dropping down which the player gets to what looks like the room originally housing the Princess' Secret Slide in the vanilla game, however this time the portrait in question is replaced by a short tunnel, leading to a smaller room which in turn leads to a larger room with Peach's painting in it.

The double door up ahead ultimately leads to an art hallway with two side rooms, which both contain paintings depicting the sky. At the end of this room is another double door, which leads to a junction hallway with multiple doors.

The door to the right leads to a room with a pipe at the end, but also has a hole hidden in one of the walls. The pipe gets the player to what is presumably the castle's basement, with Peach's painting in it and a few patched up doors, except for the one up ahead.

Origins[]

The area's layout appears to mostly be an original creation, although some rooms may be inspired by fictional "personalized" rooms rumored to occasionally appear in the vanilla game, such as in the case of Floor 2B. Most textures are taken from the 1996 beta version of Super Mario 64, and some are of unknown origin.

The music is an arrangement of "Inside Castle Walls" from Super Mario 64.

Warps[]

Two-way[]

  • Bowser's Floor: In the art hallway's left side room, turn right and jump through the painting of the single cloud with eyes.
  • Castle Grounds: In the main room, go through the double door at the back.
  • Dark Lobby: In the fake slide room, go through the door.
  • Fake Lobby: The moment you enter this area, keep going straight till you stumble upon a dead-end (specifically a wall with a cloudy texture). Go touch it because there is a double door hidden behind it.
  • Plexal Basement: In the basement area, go through the double door and then the next one up ahead.
  • Plexal Hallway: In the junction hallway, go through the double door between the pillars.
  • Plexal Lobby: In the junction hallway, go through the walled double door.
  • Vanilla Upstairs: In the art hallway's left side room, jump through the painting of the sky with clouds.
  • (0.8+) Basement Annex: In the art hallway's right-side room, enter the cloud painting.

Paintings[]

  • (0.8+) Bountiful Beach: Enter the door on the left in the main room and enter the painting.
  • Delicious Cake: In the room with the Peach painting, jump past the trapdoor and into the painting itself.

Leading away[]

  • Castle Grounds: In the art hallway's right-side room, enter the hole in front of the cloud painting.
  • Twisted Castle Grounds: The hole in front of the cloud painting has a small chance of sending you here instead.
  • Tick Tock Blocks: In the right-side room, go through the hole found in one of the walls.

Dialogue[]

Toad in the entrance room[]

I SWEAR, THESE BOB-OMBS ARE FAULTY OR SOMETHING... THERE'S THAT ONE IN A ROOM MADE OF BRICKS... SOMEWHERE IN THE CASTLE. I FEEL LIKE IT'S HIDING SOMETHING... I WOULD CHECK THE WINDOWS, BUT I CAN'T JUMP THAT HIGH

Toad in the left door[]

SAY, YOU'RE A PLUMBER, AREN'T YOU? WHEN YOU HAVE THE TIME, COULD YOU CHECK OUT THE NOISES COMING OUT OF THAT OLD SEWER SYSTEM? THAT KUPPA MUST BE UP TO SOMETHING!

Toad in the right door[]

I SWEAR THE LOBBY PAINTINGS KEEP CHANGING AROUND WHENEVER I GO THERE. DO THE WORLDS WITHIN THE PAINTINGS CHANGE TOO?
