Description[]
The area is a tall, vertical space with lava and many steep slopes, which seems to be located within Blackrock Mountain. To traverse the area, the player needs to use more advanced moves such as slope kicking (the act of holding down the jump button and repeatedly kicking to climb up a slope without sliding down).

This area seems to be an original creation.
The music playing is "Melting Magma Mound", an original composition by wasteofblood.

This area has 2 stars to collect:
- Break the item box about halfway up the area, on a narrow ledge past a Motos.
- Climb to the top of the area.
- (UA) Use the Metal Cap to collect 5 yellow coins on the lava's surface, which act as 5 secrets.
