4th Floor (Fabricated) was an area in B3313.

Description[]

The area mainly resembles 4th Floor (final), but with no access to the rooms on the left and right sides of the hall. Instead, they are walled off, with doors warping to other areas placed on the walls. There are also two warp pipes in the middle of the area; both crash the game due to having no valid warps set.

The small garden area with the Toad statue does exist, but it is blocked by a door warping to Crimson Hallway. Likewise, at the other end of the hallway, the stairs leading down to the boarded up doorway also exist but are inaccessible due to being behind the doors to Forest Maze.

Origins[]

The area is sourced from the "07.29.95" video in Emmy's Super Mario 64: CLASSIFIED video series.

Warps[]

Two-way[]

  • Barren Lobby: When coming from the balcony section, go to the middle right door.
  • Forest Maze: When coming from the balcony section, go to the furthest door.

Leading away:[]

  • Crimson Hallway: Go through the doors blocking access to the Toad statue; or when coming from the balcony section, go through either of the first doors.
  • Sapphire Lobby: When coming from the balcony section, go through the middle left door.
  • Sinister Hallway: When coming from the balcony section, go through either the furthest doors.

Trivia[]

  • All rooms connected to the hallway in 4th Floor (Final) are fully modelled behind the doors that here warp to other places.
  • There are actually two copies of the terrain and most objects in this area placed close together, which is evident when the area is viewed in an editor. This causes texture glitching and other odd effects in-game where the objects overlap.
  • Similar to Purple Upstairs, the area has a small version of Forest Maze Out of Bounds. This version is smaller than Purple Upstairs's.
