B3313 Wiki

The 3rd Floor (beta) is an area in B3313.

Description[]

The entrance to the area bears a loose resemblance to the third floor in the original Super Mario 64, with starry night wallpaper and square-shaped alcoves on either side of the entrance room. The arched hallway in the entrance leads to a three-way junction area, with two of the connected chambers being identical, and another containing a Vanish Cap to cross through an adjacent mirror room.

In B3313 v0.4.7 and v0.4.8, the main room is covered in crimson sky wallpaper. Next to the main room is a small side room with two pipes.

Origins[]

This area seems to be an original creation with limited inspiration from the vanilla Super Mario 64's third floor, as the entrance room contains a similar layout. The central part of the area was likely modeled by Gronoti.

The music playing in the area is a variation of "Inside the Castle Walls" from "Super Mario 64". This variation has both the pitch and soundfont changed, the soundtrack carrying a quieter and calmer tone as a result.

This area isn't affected by nighttime.

In B3313 v0.4.7, the music playing is "Castle & Fortress" from Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island.
